Rest assured, we want to make this migration as simple as possible without unwanted downtime for your website.
As highlighted in our email, the need for this migration was for 2 reasons, the most important being the need for improved security measures given the increased number of cyber attacks occurring in New Zealand, there was a need for us not only to protect you as a valued client, but also all our other clients that host with us, you see, the continued safety of your website is reliant on your coding, whether WordPress or other CMS services being up to date, having the latest versions of server side platforms and the most up to date security measures.
Unfortunately in some cases, your website may not comply with these requirements, and could in fact cause your site to either not function at all, or cause unwanted results. In these cases, we will do our best to return your website temporarily to the previous platform to restore your site. At this point we will discuss the best options to get your website up to a safe standard for us to migrate.
As per our email, with these heightened security measures and the increased infrastructure comes some changes to our pricing.
